Niamh Clerkin
BSc Hons Physiotherapy & PG Dip Sports Medicine | Director Mná Pelvic Health and Co-Founder of Nu
Niamh is an expert pelvic health physiotherapist originally from Ireland. She completed her BSc Hons in Physiotherapy in the UK and went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in sports medicine in New Zealand, her home since 2004. Niamh has extensive experience in sports medicine and became increasingly aware of the particular needs of women as they move through different stages of their lives.
With this in mind, Niamh transitioned her speciality area into pelvic health, helping women to maintain fitness and wellbeing throughout their menstrual, postnatal and menopausal stages. Niamh is driven by helping women to live their best possible lives. As a recognised authority on pelvic health, she is an educator and regular presenter.
“The field of pelvic health is growing worldwide, and I am proud to be at the forefront, using my expertise to help women achieve their unique goals throughout their lives.
I assist women to regain confidence in their own bodies through acknowledgement, compassion, expert education, and specialist treatment.”
When she’s not in her clinic, Niamh can be found watching her two children playing sport, walking the dog and trying not to fall off her bike. Relaxing with family and friends (and a bit of Pilates on the side) keeps her happy.
